Theatre Guild accepting applications for college scholarships for 08-09 school year
The Guild of the Venice Little Theatre announces they are currently accepting scholarship applications for the 2008-09 academic year.
Each year, the VLT Guild provides scholarships of varying amounts to deserving local undergraduate students currently enrolled in high school or pursuing an education in the performing arts at an accredited community college or university.
Awards are based on financial need and the projection of success in reaching the applicants’ academic goals and on community service history.
Each applicant must fill out an application and be available for an interview by the Selection Committee of the Guild. The deadline for receipt of applications is April 10, 2008.

VLTGuild@aol.com for more information, guidelines and applications.Applications will also be available at the theatre’s box office, which is open Monday thru Saturday from 10am to 5pm and opens one hour before all performances.
The theatre is located at 140 West Tampa Avenue on the island in Venice.
