The Ditchfield Family Singers bring all the holiday favorites to the VLT MainStage with Annual Christmas Show
The Ditchfield Family Singers Christmas Show will be on the MainStage at Venice Little Theatre for three performances on December 20, 21 and 22, 2007. All shows are at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $13 to $25 and are available now at the theatre’s box office, at 941-488-1115 or online at
www.venicestage.com The Ditchfields are truly all members of one family and in the 14 years since their formation have become widely acclaimed throughout Florida and around the country. They are known for their close harmony acappella performances and the variety of their musical presentations. Led by parents Stephen and Bernice, the family includes son, Nathanael and his wife Regina, daughter Stephanie, teen-aged sons Michael and David, and three little grandsons: Andrew, Christopher and, Joshua.Sarasota Opera House audiences have been delighted with the annual Ditchfield Family Christmas concerts, which have become a special seasonal tradition. Now, with the Ditchfields returning to VLT for a second year, the theatre hopes this show becomes a Venice tradition as well.
This Venice Little Theatre concert is being co-sponsored by Merrill-Lynch.
The theatre’s lobby bar will be open during all performances and will offer cider and eggnog, in addition to the usual fare.
The theatre is located at 140 West Tampa Avenue, on the island in Venice. Tickets are available by phone at 941-488-1115 or at the box office in person from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The box office opens one hour before all shows for walk-up tickets.
