More about TTAP

TECHNICAL THEATRE APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM
Certification from the Florida Department of Education and
Recognition by the US Department of Labor

The Technical Theatre Apprenticeship Program (TTAP) is an opportunity for students to participate in a true apprenticeship experience that is supported by an education system.  Apprenticeship is the oldest form of job training.  Students work one on one with professionals in their area of expertise.   Additionally, students earn college credit for the three semester classes (12 semester credits) that supplement the apprenticeship work.  Students are expected to maintain a B average in their high school/college work and honor any school commitments.  Twenty percent of the total 1,500 apprenticeship work hours needed to complete the TTAP program can come from their work at school.
